Ben-Avi, Ittamar
(1882-1943)
   Palestinian Hebrew journalist. He initially wrote for Hebrew periodicals edited by his father, Eliezer Ben-Yehuda. During World War I he lived in the US, but later returned to Palestine, where he founded the daily newspaper Doar ha-Yom. From 1924 he was editor of The Palestine Weekly.
